How JuegaNow Smart Notifications Keep Players, Teams, Organizers and Venues Connected

JuegaNow Team · August 26, 2026

JuegaNow notifications are designed around timing, relevance and action. Learn how nearby games, available players, venue openings, chat, check-in, attendance and support alerts work today — and how the same event system prepares for future mobile push notifications.

Local sports move quickly — notifications have to move with them

A local sports platform can have excellent games, players and venues, but those opportunities lose value if the right person notices them too late. A team can be one player short an hour before kickoff. A player can suddenly become available tonight. A court can open because of a cancellation. JuegaNow Smart Notifications are built around those moments.

The goal is not to fill your screen with noise. It is to surface useful events while there is still time to act.

Notifications follow you around JuegaNow

When you are signed in, important notifications can appear as small site-wide popups while you are using Dashboard, My Games, Profile, Venue Center or other member pages. You do not have to sit on the Notifications page waiting for something to happen.

The popup is the immediate alert. Notification Center is the permanent history. Dismissing or missing a popup does not erase the event, and simply visiting Notification Center does not automatically mark everything as read.

New games can reach the players who actually fit

When a new game is created, JuegaNow can alert relevant local players instead of broadcasting it to everybody. Matching considers the sport, city, game requirements, reciprocal reliability settings and existing schedule conflicts before creating an opportunity notification.

That means a player should not be distracted by a sport they do not play, a game in another city or an opportunity that conflicts with a confirmed commitment. The notification is intended to be useful, not merely new.

Organizers can hear when a useful player becomes available

The flow also works in the other direction. When a player publishes new availability, organizers can be notified when that player matches a real open game. This is especially valuable when a game is close to starting and one place still needs to be filled.

Instead of repeatedly refreshing Find Players, an organizer can be alerted that a compatible local player has become available while the opportunity still matters.

Venue openings can become immediate local opportunities

Venue Center adds another side to the same network. When a court, field or sports space publishes new open time, relevant organizers and team managers can be alerted to a matching local opening. Last-minute inventory can be especially useful because an empty court has value only while there is still time to book and play.

A future JuegaNow community can therefore react quickly on both sides: venues can expose unused space, and local teams or organizers can turn that opening into an actual game.

Direct game events are treated as high priority

Some events are not opportunities — they are commitments. Invitations, join requests, acceptances, declines, player cancellations, game cancellations and Game Chat messages are treated as high-priority activity because somebody is already depending on the outcome.

These alerts link back to the relevant game or action so the member can respond without hunting through unrelated pages. Game Chat notifications are coalesced so an active conversation remains visible without creating a separate permanent notification for every single line of chat.

The game timeline has its own reminders

JuegaNow also follows the lifecycle of a confirmed game. Roughly one hour before kickoff, the organizer and confirmed players can receive a “game starts soon” reminder. Closer to the start, the Check-In prompt becomes the next important action.

After the game, JuegaNow can ask both sides to confirm attendance. That connects notifications directly to the Reliability system: reminder, check-in, real participation and post-game confirmation become one continuous flow.

Support, attendance and venue reservations also matter

High-priority notifications also cover Support replies, attendance dispute resolutions and venue reservation activity. A venue owner should know when a resource is reserved or cancelled, just as a player should know when Support has answered an issue that affects an account or attendance record.

The same principle applies across roles: if an event changes what you need to do next, JuegaNow should make it difficult to miss.

Smart targeting is as important as speed

Fast notifications are useful only when they are relevant. JuegaNow can attach structured information such as role, priority, sport, city, related game or venue, and whether the event is eligible for future push delivery.

That structure lets the platform distinguish an urgent commitment from a general opportunity and gives future matching logic room to become even more selective without rebuilding the notification system.

Notification Center keeps the history

Site-wide popups are intentionally temporary, but the Notification Center is not. An item remains available so you can return to it later, and unread state is preserved until you open the item or deliberately choose Mark all read.

This matters in sports because people are not always staring at a screen. A quick popup can get attention now; persistent history makes sure the information is still there later.

Built today for the web, structured for the future app

JuegaNow currently delivers these smart alerts inside the logged-in web platform. The notification records are already structured with push eligibility and related event data so the same event stream can later power the planned JuegaNow mobile experience.

The future goal is simple: an iPhone or Android notification such as “Your Padel game starts in one hour”, “A team near you needs one player” or “Court 2 just opened tonight” should come from the same JuegaNow event that already powers the website. Mobile push is part of the direction, but it is not being presented as a live feature before the app exists.

The purpose is simple: do not miss the moment

JuegaNow exists for real local sports situations where timing matters. If your team is short, if you are suddenly free, if a venue has an opening or if your confirmed game needs your attention, the platform should help the right people find out while they can still do something about it.

That is what Smart Notifications are meant to become: not another noisy feed, but the communication layer connecting Players, Teams, Organizers and Venues around real games in real cities.
