Player, Team, Organizer or Venue? How JuegaNow Roles Work
JuegaNow lets one account take on multiple sports roles. Here is what Players, Teams, Organizers and Venues actually do, how they differ and how they work together.
JuegaNow is built around what people actually do in local sports
Real sports communities are rarely divided into neat boxes. A player can also captain a team. A team manager can organize games. A venue owner may play after work. JuegaNow is designed around that reality: one account can unlock multiple capabilities instead of forcing people to create separate identities.
The four concepts to understand are Player, Team, Organizer and Venue / Business. They connect to each other, but each one solves a different part of the local sports problem.
Player: I want to play
A Player is the person who wants to participate. Players choose their city and sports, publish when they are available, discover games, request to join, accept invitations, use Game Chat, check in and build a Player Reliability history through real attendance.
A player does not need to own a team or organize anything. The simplest JuegaNow experience can be: tell the platform when you can play, find a matching opportunity and show up.
Team: we already play together
A Team is a reusable group identity for people who play together. A team can have a name, members and games associated with it. This is useful for clubs, recurring groups, league teams or simply friends who regularly need one more player.
A team itself is not the same thing as the person running tonight’s game. When a team creates or hosts a game, the responsible organizer account is still the person accountable for that event.
Organizer: I am running this game
An Organizer creates and manages games. The organizer chooses the sport, time, number of open spots, player requirements, exact location and reliability rules; reviews join requests; invites players; manages the roster; and coordinates everyone through Game Chat.
Organizer Reliability answers a simple question for players: when this person says a game is happening, does the experience actually happen as promised? It is different from Player Reliability because organizing a game and attending a game are different responsibilities.
Venue / Business: I manage the place where people play
A Venue / Business manages physical sports inventory: a padel court, football field, basketball court, rink, gym or another bookable space. A venue can create multiple independent courts, fields or spaces, assign sports to them, publish open time and accept reservations for exact portions of those windows.
The venue resource is stationary, so it does not use the travel buffer that JuegaNow applies to a person moving between games. If Court 1 is open from 21:00 to 24:00 and 21:00–22:00 is reserved, 22:00–24:00 can remain available.
Why Organizer and Venue are intentionally separate
An organizer may run a football game on a field they do not own. A sports facility may rent five courts to five unrelated organizers. Combining those roles would make scheduling, responsibility and trust confusing.
JuegaNow keeps them connected but separate: Organize is about running the game; Venue Center is about managing the physical space.
One person can wear several hats
Imagine Sofia plays padel, manages a Thursday-night team and owns a small two-court facility. She should not need three accounts. Her JuegaNow account can participate as a Player, use Team tools, organize games and manage venue availability.
The navigation is grouped around those capabilities so the platform can grow without turning the header into a wall of buttons. My Games remains a primary destination because commitments matter regardless of which role created them.
How the roles connect in one real-world flow
A venue posts Court 2 as available. An organizer or team finds the opening and creates a game. The organizer needs two more players. Local players who match the sport, schedule and reliability rules see the opportunity. They join, coordinate in Game Chat, check in and later confirm attendance.
That entire chain can happen inside one local network: place to play, game to fill, people to join and trust history afterward.
Why this model can scale city by city
Different cities organize sports differently. Some rely on clubs, some on pickup games, some on private facilities and some on informal groups. A flexible role model lets JuegaNow support all of them without forcing every city into the same pattern.
The goal is simple: whatever your part in local sports is, JuegaNow should give you the right tools while keeping everyone connected to the same local community.
