How JuegaNow Reliability Works: Show-Ups, No-Shows, Cancellations and Trust

JuegaNow Team · August 26, 2026

JuegaNow Reliability is built from real game commitments, not popularity. Learn how Player and Organizer scores work, how check-ins help, and how disputes protect both sides.

Reliability is not a star-rating contest

JuegaNow does not want trust to become a popularity contest where friends give each other five stars. Reliability is based on concrete game behavior: did the person show up, did they cancel responsibly, or did an organizer fail to deliver the game they confirmed?

The goal is not to punish people for having a bad day. The goal is to give future players and organizers useful history when they are making a real commitment.

There are two different reliability histories

Player Reliability measures a member’s behavior when they are accepted into games as a player. Organizer Reliability measures behavior when that member is responsible for running a game.

Keeping those histories separate matters. Someone can be an extremely dependable player but a disorganized host, or an excellent organizer who rarely plays themselves.

How attendance affects the percentage

A confirmed show-up contributes 100 points. A late cancellation contributes 50. A no-show contributes 0. A cancellation made with enough notice is neutral and does not drag the score down.

Organizers can set a cancellation notice cutoff for their game. That lets JuegaNow distinguish someone who responsibly gives the group time to replace them from someone who disappears at the last moment.

New members are not treated like 0% users

A person with no history should not begin with a red 0%. JuegaNow labels members as New until they have at least three scored games. After that, the percentage becomes established enough to be useful.

Organizers can separately decide whether to allow New players, even when they set a minimum reliability percentage. Players can make the same choice about New organizers.

Check-in gives the system stronger evidence

Confirmed players can use JuegaNow check-in around the game. Organizers can also use the game’s QR/tap check-in flow. A verified check-in is strong evidence that the person was actually there and helps prevent careless no-show reports.

Check-in is not meant to track people around the city. It is a game-specific confirmation tied to a real commitment.

Both sides get a voice after the game

For 48 hours after a game, attendance can be reviewed from both directions. An organizer can confirm whether an accepted player showed up, and a player can independently report whether the organizer and game were actually there.

That symmetry is intentional. A trust system would be unfair if only teams and organizers could judge players while players had no way to report an organizer who never showed up.

Disputes go to real Support

Accidents, emergencies, wrong locations and misunderstandings happen. A no-show or late-cancellation incident can be disputed through JuegaNow Support. Staff can review the game, messages and explanation, then uphold, excuse or remove the incident.

The system keeps an audit trail rather than letting either side silently rewrite history. JuegaNow can protect accountability without pretending every situation is black and white.

Reliability can control who sees opportunities

An organizer can require a minimum Player Reliability percentage and can choose whether New players are allowed. A player can set a minimum Organizer Reliability preference and decide whether New organizers should still appear.

Those rules are used in discovery and matching, not merely displayed as decoration. Strong trust history can therefore unlock more opportunities over time.

Teams use the responsible organizer’s trust today

When a game is associated with a Team, JuegaNow currently ties organizer trust to the responsible organizer account running that game. The team identity, roster and games are visible, but the reliability percentage follows the real person accountable for the event rather than creating an artificial team score with no history.

As Team Center grows, team-level history can become richer, but the current model keeps the public score factual and tied to actual behavior already recorded by JuegaNow.

Smart scheduling supports reliability before the game even starts

JuegaNow also protects commitments with schedule logic. Once a player or organizer is confirmed in a game, that commitment blocks overlapping opportunities and includes a travel/preparation buffer. Someone should not continue appearing available for another game they realistically cannot reach.

Reliability is therefore not only about judging the past. It also helps the platform reduce preventable conflicts before they become no-shows.

Trust grows game by game

One missed game should not define a person forever, and one successful game should not instantly make someone “perfect.” A useful reliability percentage becomes meaningful through repeated real participation.

Show up, communicate when plans change, organize what you promise and resolve genuine problems honestly. Over time, that history makes local sports easier for everyone.
