Build Your Game Faster: Friends, Player Invites, Nearby Discovery & Smarter Game Management
JuegaNow now makes it easier to turn nearby players into a regular group: discover across local city boundaries, add friends from games, search and invite specific players, and organize teams from one Game Day workspace.
Local sports do not stop at city limits
A player in San Miguel de Tucumán should not miss a game in nearby Yerba Buena just because the municipality name is different. JuegaNow now uses local-area discovery when coordinates are available, with exact-city results first and nearby activity included within the surrounding playing area.
The real city name is still shown, so a Yerba Buena game remains Yerba Buena. The difference is that players who are genuinely close enough to play can finally discover each other.
Turn people you meet in games into Friends
Confirmed players can now send friend requests from player profiles and directly from the game experience. Requests can be accepted or declined, and accepted connections appear in a dedicated Friends area.
This makes it easy to build a regular football, padel, basketball or rugby group from people you already know through real games instead of starting from zero every week.
Search for a specific player and invite them
Organizers now have a clear Invite Player action inside each game. Friends are surfaced first, nearby players are available, and a direct name search lets the organizer find the exact person they want.
Results show useful context such as avatar, city, distance when available, reliability and friend status. The action also knows whether the person is already in the game, already invited or has a pending join request.
Team Management is now a simple Game Day workspace
For 2v2 games and larger, the team workflow has been simplified into one clear control center: Subs / Unassigned on the left, Team 1 and Team 2 in the center, and Game Chat on the right.
Players move from the unassigned pool into the two teams, so there is no duplicated roster to manage. The layout scales for small games, football 11v11, Rugby Union 15v15 and larger groups with substitutes.
Organizers have better control without more clutter
Team Settings keeps team names, colors, players-per-team targets and the optional Team Coordinator in one contained panel. Organizers can swap sides, reset assignments, lock finalized teams and delegate team setup without handing over full game control.
A Set Teams shortcut jumps directly to the workspace, making large game pages faster to navigate.
Small organizer tools save time before the game
Create Game now automatically proposes an end time one hour after the selected start time while keeping the end fully editable. Organizers can also correct or rename a game title later without recreating the event.
Check-in QR presentation was also hardened so one clean, scan-safe code appears inside the attendance area without being stretched or duplicated.
The goal is a regular group, not another weekly search
Discovery helps you meet the right local players. Friends helps you keep the good connections. Direct invitations help you bring those people back into the next match. Team Management then helps organize everyone once the game is full.
