Finding someone to play with should be about more than seeing every available person in your city. Different players and different games have different needs, so JuegaNow now lets members choose whether they want to play with male players, female players or both.
The goal is not to complicate your profile. It is to make player discovery and sports matching more useful from the beginning.
Choose What Works for You
Your profile includes three simple gender choices: Male, Female or Prefer not to say. Separately, you can choose who you would like to play with by selecting Male, Female or both.
For example, a woman who only wants to play with other women can choose Female as her gender and Female as her play preference. A man who is happy to play with anyone can choose Male as his gender and select both Male and Female.
JuegaNow Uses the Preference Where It Matters
These preferences are used for player-focused features such as Players Available, Find Players, Smart Matches and player suggestions for games. Instead of showing every possible player and making you filter the list yourself, JuegaNow can focus on people who fit the type of game you are looking for.
The preference works together with the rest of the matching system, including your city, sport, date, time and availability.
Game Organizers Can Choose Too
When an organizer creates a game, JuegaNow can mark the game as looking for Male players, Female players or Both/Mixed. That gives organizers a simple way to describe the type of game they are building.
JuegaNow can then use the game setting when recommending available players and checking invitations or join requests. A women-only padel game can focus on female players, while a mixed recreational game can remain open to both.
Community Stays Open to the Local Sports Community
Your Male/Female playing preference does not filter the Community feed. Community is about local sports posts, photos and activity, so approved sports posts can still be seen across the local community.
The preference is specifically designed to make player discovery, game matching and availability results more relevant.
What If I Choose Prefer Not to Say?
You can still use JuegaNow normally if you choose Prefer not to say. However, gender-specific searches and recommendations need a known player gender to make a reliable match.
That means choosing Prefer not to say can reduce how often you appear when another player or organizer is specifically looking for Male or Female players. JuegaNow explains this before you save the choice so you can decide what works best for you.
